Watch how I clean this DUNK with blackening on the nubuck

In this episode, I will introduce how to clean this
   DUNK SB Low Premium ”Maple Leaf”
using KicksWrap products.

There are no big scratches or stains but it has blackening and discoloration of the midsole due to aging.

The toe box and side panels are composed made of nubuck so how to remove its darkening is the key.

As you can see, the nubuck is very dirty. The raised material are rough (as fine hairs stand on the surface), so it gets dirty easily.

I was thinking about using Utility Eraser to remove the dirt if there is any left after washing it.

So, let's start with the wash.

I brushed the nubuck carefully. Let's take a look at it to see if the blackening has come off.
/
As you can see, the Toe box has become very beautiful.

I was thinking about using the Utility Eraser, but I don't think I need to.

I'd like you to check it out the before and after.

What do you think? The darkening has been removed and the overall tone has become brighter. It's easy to see when you clean raised materials.
/
As for the nubuck, how you wear it usually determines how much dirt will be removed when cleaned.
/
Sneaker cleaning is indispensable but how you treat them everyday is also important!
